No joke, I've been on here for about 15 minutes reading my notifications and responding to a few posts. 22% of my battery has been eaten in these 15 minutes and the last quote I replied to took several minutes to type due to lagging. Brutal. Looks like I'll be signing off to charge my phone.

For info on a forum that actually talks Fantasy sports and not spammed with soliciting leagues, PM me. The more the merrier !

Whenever I try to post on my phone, sometimes it'll just randomly reload the browser for me, erasing everything I just typed. It's become a game for me now to see if I can finish my post before it resets.

You should never, ever view these (or probably any other) forums with JavaScript enabled in your browser. Now in order to access the forums via a mobile device you need it to enable the hamburger menu, which is why I would suggest not viewing the site on mobile.

On all mobile/tablet devices I have one browser that has JavaScript disabled entirely and one that has JavaScript enabled. The only time I use the browser with JS enabled is when I absolutely require JS functionality for a site and I am reasonably confident that I'm not going to be hit with a bunch of 3rd party (usually ad) scripts.

Can't rep this enough. Has an ad blocker built in. Has blocked thousands of ads on this site for me. Occasionally I go back and try RealGM on my normal browser, and inevitably it's **** all over again.

Got the recommendation to download Brave in the help section of this site, and have used it since. It is awesome.

After reading this recommendation I downloaded Brave Browser and I've had no issues with the sight. No freezing, crashing, and most importantly, no lag in typing.

It's been great.

Thank you everyone for the feedback. There were several issues in July that clearly made the experience on mobile ridiculously bad for most users. While things have improved over the past few weeks, it still needs to get better.

We made significant upgrades and server optimizations to improve forum speed during the second half of 2016. It was apparent, based on both user feedback and an increase in pageviews, that it made a meaningful difference in your ability to read and post on the forums. This thread is an indication that we've had a setback.

Over the past 12-18 months, there have been far more rich media and video ads across the web and of course on RealGM. We have very little control over the types of ads that appear on our site as we work with third parties. With that said, we have been working throughout the summer on ways to minimize and hopefully eliminate ads that interfere with your ability to use the site.

We have always had strict restrictions on the types of ads we run, such as pop-ups, pop-unders, autoplay sound and suggestive ads and continue to do so. Your ability to read and post without issue is our utmost priority.

We will report back as we make progress over the coming weeks.

I can't understand why realgm continues to use this terrible platform. Vbulletin seems to be the message board standard and I have none of the problems I experience here, when using those sites.

I cant see my old posts, any time I try to type a reply the lag makes me just give up.

I’ve never had any issues remotely similar to this with any other forum I’ve ever used in the entire 20 years I’ve been on the internet. This kind of ridiculous redirection is usually limited to sites for stealing porn or streams of live sporting events. This is conpletely unacceptable. If I found a forum with remotely similar basketball discussion I’d never post here again in a million years.
