Why does this site continue to be cancer on mobile?
Been like this for a couple YEARS now. There is likely a 50% chance I get redirected when I come to this site on my phone.

On this site, and only this site, my iPhone will heat up and the page will constantly crash.
Tried it on two other friends iPhones and they experienced the same thing.
Went to my carriers store, asked them about it, they tried the site on an iPhone and got the same results.
Realgm has issues

It’s bad and they appear to be making no effort to fix it.

This site is basically unusable on mobile, it’s embarrassing.

It's not just mobile. On desktop the site gets laggy and uses a ton of memory. And I just went to And'1 someone but instead got redirected to Adidas...

Bumping this up... the desktop version of the site is slow as hell with all the ad extensions and crap constantly loading in the background.
When are mods/owners of the site going to address these issues?

Glad to see that it’s not just me.
Either way, it’s safe to assume nobody cares.

Re: Why does this site continue to be cancer on mobile?
I’ve been using a browser app called Brave (on iOS, but maybe it’s on other OS too). It has an option to block scripts, so I can browse this site without having to deal with ads and the redirect nonsense. You lose the option to give and-1s, but that’s a small price to pay.
For a typical clean site that’s implemented properly, you’d maybe have 5-6 scripts blocked. Realgm? 26-30 per page load. Somebody should look into this.

greedy admins with abusive ads in the name of $$$
just now, on desktop browser, I had to try five times to login because a god damn ad covers up the login fields!!! seriously.

I think you're all just overreacting. This mobile stuff is a fad. No one is going to want to RealGM on their phone a year from now.

Absolutely laughable this issue on iOS has been going on for months maybe years with no fix with maybe one or two months of the abusive ads being disabled then it comes right back.
I’d wager a large portion of your traffic comes through this way. Please fix this issue.

If people would just disable flash and use an adware blocker, RealGM works great with no delay or issues on PC or phone.

So in other words the expectation is that to properly use the site a user should have to use 3rd party software to circumvent how the site generates revenue?
Don't get me wrong. I installed an ad blocker partially because of this site. But if that's the default path that users are forced to take hen something is seriously broken.
