Atleast for me, it looks like the Adware redirects have returned! Come on REALGM, this is a world class website and should operate as such. These brutal redirects are something to be expected from an illegal streaming site or porn sites.

Anyone having these issues again lately?

When has the problem disappeared is the better question?

I get them on mobile version. It's so annoying, I've basically stopped using this site on mobile.

Download Brave mobile browser app. Has adblock built in. I use it and have zero problems here.

When did they ever stop? The stupid thing about it probably cost them money in the long run. For example I frequent arstechina for my tech stuff. I actually have it whitelisted by ublock origin because I respect the content and know there's nothing funny going on. I understand people have to get paid. But with this site that would simple be insane as you probably could catch something really nasty.

I use Ghostery on my Mac (desktop) and also on iPhone. It blocks like 40 trackers on this site.

Sad thing is that the website owners resort to this to get paid

We could just report them to google/microsoft/etc... Hijacking like that is malicious and I bet they'd get rid of it if google started considering them a malicious site.

I don't want to cause trouble for the site owners, but they are putting non tech saavy people at risk and exposing themselves to liability.

Im on safari using my iphone and i get 0 ads or redirects. but i will post here if i do

use the opera browser bro, best, and fastest browser i've used to date, with built in pop up blockers and vpn, plus dark mode

Yeah I downloaded the Adblock browser on my phone a long time ago and basically only use it for realgm because it has an ad blocker built in. Ublock origin as an extension for chrome works really well too. Don’t know if it’s available for other browsers. I’d recommend both of those.

It's very diffucult to write posts using Chrome on my phone. I am in the same boat as Dominater, things had seemed to clear up (regarding redirects, this text input box has dropped so I had to stop typing threetimes already and that hasnever changed.

RealGM is simply the worst mobile viewing experience of any website I frequent. I shouldn't be forced to use a separate browser, nor that unappealing Tapatalk app.

How can anyone browse these days without an adblocker? I don't do mobile, so I don't know about that, but with free adblock plus I've never seen an ad on this site.

Haven't seen an ad online for a long time. Is that still a thing?

It's only an issue on mobile for me. My PC is well protected
