Technical Bug with Subject Line Help

Post#1 » by GONYK » Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:25 pm

Hello,

In the last 2 weeks or so, the forum keeps auto-filling the subject line in my posts with some topic name I created a year ago instead of the standard "Re: Thread Title".

This issue persists even though I have cleared out my cookies and all my browser history.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

What browser, machine are you on? Here's a manual way that should work though.

Highlight the subject line, use the up/down keys to navigate. With a suggestion highlighted, hit
Mac: Shift + FN + Delete.
Windows: Shift + Delete.

If you hold the keys once, it will delete the single entry you highlighted. If you keep them pressed, it will delete each line in sequence.

Thanks for the follow up!

The issue actually corrected itself. I'm not sure what was ever wrong.

It was happening on both a chromebook and Mac in Chrome and Firefox.

I will keep this in mind if it happens again.
