OT - Realgm pop up ads are ridiculous

The pop-up ads and weird toe fungus ads appearing on mobile are ridiculous. It’s hard to post from mobile at times due to the ads/pop-ups - what is the ad strategy here?

May I recommend DuckDuckGo as your mobile browser. Blocks pretty much every ad. It does block some legit images on certain sites however.

i know most of you probably use pop up blockers and ad blockers so it won’t matter to you guys. but i am an old man who doesn’t know how to use all that stuff and i’ve never minded letting companies get paid by showing me ads.

but realgm ads are insane. every time i click on something i have to exit out of two pop ups. heck even if i’m on the same page for a little while they’ll pop back up.

it really has caused me to use the site much less. it’s weird because i wouldn’t think something so trivial would cause me to stop using the site but it really had.

I now use the android app (which also sucks but for different reasons).

When I tried using ad blockers on the website performance was significantly degraded.

I have never had any issue with adblock. I don't use THIS site on my phone in general, but I have...adblock worked just fine as a browser here.
