Real GM is becoming too buggy to tolerate on my Ipad. I may quit.

The buggy advertisements and popups are destroying the ability of RealGM webpages to function as intended on an Ipad.

I use Tapatalk on my phone. Better than the browser. I also have a Mac and use the Brave browser - no ads.
Or just get a pop-up blocker.

Not trying to be rude but it sounds like you’re watching too much porn. I haven’t had any issues since a couple months ago when they corrected the popups

Malicious porn websites have almost no power over Linux, Mac and Mac-mobile machines but can make a mess out of windows machines and Windows browsers.

I do not watch more than an hour a porn per week but why should porn watching effect RealGM webpages on an ipad browser?

RealGM is making money from those advertisements as long as we do not quit Realgm.

I had no problem with RealGM and Ipad browsers until 5 to 10 years ago. My first decade of Realgm was problem free but I was using a Linux machine for most of the 2005 to 2017 years.

Now page reloads to often destroying anything I was writing online. Composing what I am writing offline is a work around for that problem but it is not RealGM”s only problem.

The popups over over up the web page content that I was trying to read.

Somebody recommended the Brave browser and it solved all my frustrations.

At this point how are people not using an ad blocker? I haven't seen an ad in years.

I’m getting straight up fully redirected to fake virus sites. It’s a shame because you want to see ancient relics of the internet survive but this site, between the actual brain dead moderators that can’t handle the most obvious multi account users trolling boards and the mid post ad refreshes and now these redirects, it’s just actually a bit sad how aggressively **** this website treats its users.

It actually deserves this pathetic drawn out death, better left to the guys with a VPN and 10 accounts and an adblocker that somehow get a better user experience than the guys that actually have been here and tolerate the trash

Realgm sucks

Lots of redirecting to “data encryption” spam sites and also the error of page breaking due to too many refreshes.

We've been working with our ad partner on eliminating some of the new ad placements they added and the overall speed of the site on the forums. We hope to have these issues significantly improved within the next few days.

I can’t type anything until the ads are finished loading and realgm has the slowest ad-server that I have ever seen.

By the time the ads load the page is ready to crash because the page always crashes when the new advertisements arrive or when somebody else posts to the same thread.

Seems like nobody is beta testing the advertisements see if they’re buggy It seems like nobody is beta testing the advertisements to see if they are buggy.

I'm getting the same problem on my device (Samsung S23) and my wife's phone (iPhone 14).

The site either crashes or nothing loads up, because the ads make it impossible to write a message or scroll.

The site is borderline unusable at the moment.
