I hope this is the proper way to ask this question.

The Bluesky social network is emerging as a useful place for NBA and Celtics news. There are buttons available on RealGM to link posts and video clips for Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram.

Can a Bluesky button be added to those? It would be helpful in seamlessly adding info from that growing website.

Gant, I left your post visible on the C's board but moved it to Feedback and Suggestions forum. I don't know the answer and I think it's more of an admin question than a mod question. There are RGM admins (and mods) who monitor the suggestions forum, and if anyone can help with this, it's them. I'd like to see this happen myself. Cheers.

Thanks. I saw that it was moved to the appropriate place, which I did not know existed. I'm glad you also left it on the Celtics board, because Bluesky is pretty cool and others here might want to take a peek at it.

I added that final sentence after it was moved. There are a number of general NBA writers starting to be active on the site, in addition to those following specific teams.

Yes, the migration from Twitter/X to Bluesky is a real thing. We need that incorporated here asap.

Yup. It happened fast but it's arrived. Sports media has migrated over and Twitter is now a ghost town.

BTW, the Raptors, and almost all of their social media "influencers" are now on Bluesky, and the numbers are growing every day.

The site is now approaching 29 million users and growing very fast. The sports content is growing along with that userbase. It would be good for both RealGM and Bluesky if a button for posting information from that site was added.

sub reddits are banning Twitter links. Not saying I want that but it would be great to have a Blue Sky button as a lot of people are abandoning X and moving to BlueSky.

Any update on this? If it's even being worked on? It's extremely needed.

Any word on this at all? The newbreakers are using this primarily.

The NBA has opened an official account on Bluesky. They haven't posted anything as of this moment.

They also didn't announce anything about it, but despite that they picked up 10,000 followers in a day.

I agree that bluesky should be added, or better yet replace, the X button on RealGM.

The Current Affairs board now has more hyperlinks to bluesky than embeds of X, and following the hyperlinks has become a bit of a burden.

33 million users. This request took less than 24 hours to fulfill on another site I go to.

I'd also like to give BlueSky a try. RealGM is pretty much the only message board I still use.
