For starters you have to have a credit score of at least 800.

Post well and frequently and you might be asked to be a mod.

I'm not sure if it would be worth it though, because I hear rumors that strip searches are administered before, during, and after you become a mod. Schadenfreude claims it's optional, but I don't believe him.

It is optional. Schad's the only person who actually elects to do it.
