These have been popping up the past several weeks, and I finally need to say something. It's simply impossible for a site to be user-friendly if it has video ads that autoplay when a page loads.

For the record, I never adblock pages, since sites need those ads for revenue. But I have decided to adblock these video ads simply because of how intrusive they are.

Please, RealGM, these sorts of advertisements are counterproductive. They do not make ads more noticeable. Rather, they simply drive away members, and encourage use of adblock, decreasing clicks on both those ads and other ads.

"EVERY GUYS DREAM TO PLAY PRO FOOTBALL..." pause, scroll down, turn down speakers, remind myself to stay away from whoever made the intrusive loud annoying ad, and pay no more attention.

I can't stand these video ads
Especially when they auto play. Audio ads are annoying but these take the cake.

please take auto play off at least, its not my dream to play pro-football either...

Hear, hear. I love this site, but ads like this will drive users away--thereby harming the long-term value of the site.

We have removed these ads and will make sure that any video ads in the future are triggered by the user only. We apologize for the intrusiveness of these ads.
