I'm sure there is a thread somewhere which describes step by step instructions on how to post pictures so I was hoping someone cna lead me to that thread or post instructions.

I may be doing this wrong, but when i want to post an image off the internet. I go to google images, find the one I want, click the link that makes it full screen, then copy the address. Then I come back to realgm, click the post reply buttom, then on the menu click the img button and in between the two sets of brackets, I paste the address.

Are you sure that actually works? I thought you had to go to some imaging site or something and mess around wtih it. I'm pretty sure just copying the link asscoiated into the post reply box doens't work. If it does (and it would be great it if was that easy) than that is great news but it hasn't worked for me doing it that way.

If you're using firefox, right click on the picture you want and hit "copy link location", if you're using IE, then right click and hit properties, then copy the address. Then just paste that between img tags.
Like this: [img]http://www.whateverlink.com/blahblah.jpg[/img]

That was a test and the picture didn't show up. This is what has been happening when I try this.

You must upload the picture to a hosting site like photobucket if it's on your desktop.

Remember the quote problem you had? Exact same problem. Disable BBCode.

My mistake. I should have clarified. Uncheck the 'Disable BBCode'..
