yes, but they've appeared in newspapers, television, magazines etc. not any more censored than I posted em.
And they're totally relevant to the topic.
Still, I wanna know, if they violate some sort of policy, I'll remove them.

guess what - porn appears on TV and the internet too. it doesn't make it any less violating the TOS IMO but I'm not really aware of the TOS to be honest. I'm just saying that your reasoning isn't very good.

No porn doesn't appear on CNN.com or the New York times.
Sure they were graphic pictures, but no more so than half the scenes in Inglorious Bastards.
It's not like I posted porn.

The following is a warning which has been issued to you by an administrator or moderator of this site.
This is a warning regarding the following post made by you: viewtopic.php?f=42&p=20670929#p20670929 .
There are acceptable ways to express the point besides posting graphic and unacceptable pictures that undermine this forum as a place for clean and reasonable discussion.
Its not always just about being right. Its about expressing it in a way that is appropriate.
Where do I find the TOS ?

Check your private messages, Silver Bullet.
And jeez, you REALLY expect us to check to see if something is being discussed in the feedback forum every time we see something that needs action?
The expectations are, indeed, high in this gig.

No No. I thought I had mentioned it in that thread as well. It's okay I guess. I would appreciate if you could rescind the warning.

The forum entitled "Forum Rules" contains the TOS. It's right at the top - tough to miss.

Oh I see. Personally I wouldn't have done it, but I don't think you deserved even an official warning. Everyone has seen the pics and like SB said the pics were shown on TV and every media outlet.
I think some people take their moderator jobs a bit too seriously. You don't have to enforce all the rules to the 't' but instead do whats in good spirit. At the very most just remove it and tell him don't do it again.

Not without warning. Usually when graphic pictures like the ones that were posted, are shown on ABC news or another station, they give you the graphic content warning.

it was his first day on the job.
And to top it off, I removed the images myself anyway.

I removed them.
All you did was edit it to remove my remark about moving them.
And jeez, dude. Its a warning. All it means is "please don't do it again". I don't see why you're so upset.
And it wasn't a rookie mistake either. I referred you very specifically to the rule you violated (per your request, no less). I feel no further need to justify what I did. I think I've thoroughly addressed your concerns.
Complaining about issues is fine. Thats what this forum is for. But you are saying things that just plain aren't true.

it's okay. I didn't see your remark. And I was more upset by the fact that you gave me a warning mere minutes into your tenure. It came across as an arrogant misuse of power.
But I suppose you were right from where you stand.

In other words you were wrong, and you are just making a big deal about nothing...

Okay, I'm not sure why you keep butting in but I wasn't wrong at all. The pictures I posted don't violate the TOS.
I was just being nice and trying to end an argument on a positive note. I'm not sure why you'd feel the need to come in and stroke the flames.

Being nice and using the phrase "arrogant misuse of power" don't really fit. If thats how you define nice, I shudder to think what being mean is to you.
And he's a Global. Its their job to get involved.

Like I said before, I think we've thoroughly addressed the complaint made here. The discussion doesn't have to continue just because you don't like the outcome.
