Dear Rooster,

Why did you make my warning public? That was completely unnecessary, unless you weren't going to PM me but you did, was it to show off or take charge of "your" board?
And, unless you gave Canomad more courtesy than myself and FSN, why wasn't he warned, you warned me for personal insults but insulting everyone who is Muslim on this board isn't a personal insult? I myself am Muslim and found nearly everything he said personally insulting. I think we would both agree you would feel hostile towards someone who completely and uninformatively degrades your entire religion but unlike you I am not simply able to lock such threads with a click of a button, I assume by now you have gotten good at this. And, if I am mistaken and you have warned him than you are still a hypocrite for not warning him publicly. So what is it? Are you a hypocrite or are you a hypocrite?
I think my warning should be rescinded and Canomad should be suspended or banned for complete disregards and adherence to someones beliefs. A public apology would be greatly appreciated.

If you look lower down the page, a poster is voicing his displeasure with some of the misogyny that occurs on this board. In addition, the term "Iron curtain" is frown upon by some people, I am told.

Spartan13, the way you worded it made it sound like the two were intertwined. Also, I hope you realize that behind the former Iron Curtain, there are at least four different ethncities and six different countries. It's a shaky and not particularly tasteful generalization to make. I didn't even give you an official warning, so you know.

tracey_nice, we're currently reviewing some things involving that thread and others like it. All I can say for now is that if you see a post you consider offensive, instead of accusing its poster of having the approximate IQ of a gourd, to just report it or to state its unfairness in a civil way. We actually do deal with things here.

There are tons of public warnings on RealGM. This is not an isolated instance.

I just apologized to Canomad for misreading his statement. I apologized quite often when I was a mod, even if I didn't do anything.

I do not see how the context of my avatar or sig are relevant to this particular incident. My sig and avatar were the same prior to this incident and will be the same long after.
