Okay I have 2 pages open

RealGM on the Raptors forum and Youtube ... and all of a sudden I start hearing some guy talk about "Twilight" and crap like that

I was thinking it's from youtube so I search there and see nothing and I close youtube and yet I'm still hearing it.

I do ctrl+alt+delete to see if anything is open (I wouldnt expect something like this to be from realgm) and nothing else is opened ...

I go to realgm there is nothing there showing sound, so I close the realgm browser and the sound stops

What is that crap? And this has happened a 2nd time since it first happened, I just ignored it the first time

It's best you post a link from properties so the source can be known. Ads that have sound not initiated by the user aren't supposed to be around.

It happened to me, and I couldn't tell where it was coming from because I too had multiple tabs open. Didn't think it was RealGM at first, but when I closed it it stopped.

It was really annoying.

The ads have a sound on/off button in the top right corner. That said, I agree with you guys and hate the sound ads too.

Problem is it doesn't save that on a page by page basis.

I was just coming here to make a thread on this...what's up with it? To be honest, I can't even see which ad the sound is coming from. It also slows down the page you're on because it takes a while to load up.

Will this problem be fixed?

Ok it just happened again. This is absolutely ridiculous

I'm pretty sure the source was an XM-Radio advertisement on the side

How would you want me to show you the source? It's so long

i get one pretty consistently that tells me "congratulations, you're a winner!" there is no mute button in the corner of the advertisement. and the ad itself in red letters on a gray background says, "click here, this is no joke" or something to that effect.

pretty obnoxious and might be humorous if not for the sound.
