favicon.ico

Post#1 » by NoSkyy » Sat Jan 23, 2010 12:37 am

(First posted on the Bulls board)
For some reason, when I'm surfing around Realgm today, the site keeps starting a downloading for facicon.ico(which looks like the realgm logo basically) onto my computer and wouldn't stop until Google Chrome basically asked me permission to allow the site to download multiple files.

Did anyone else have this problem or is something wrong with my browser?

Um, to my count, as I tried to post it, it's downloaded for the 8th time.

Yeah I got it too. Im glad I have Firefox or I might have gotten a virus. We need some better security on here.

I believe it's just that little icon next to RealGM if you have RealGM in your bookmarks menu.

It's not a virus but it's annoying.

I received this too, but it is completely harmless. Our sever host has looked into it and it should now be completely cleared.

Please let me know if it continues for any of you from here on out.

It's still happening for me, at a rapidly increasing frequency.

Ok, thanks for letting us know. We'll have them look into it again.
