Someone steals a video of you frm youtube and posts it on RealGM without your permission, after you've made it CLEAR that you would like it removed from the site, and from the persons possesion?

Btw, OP....if you are really interested in going against Gallo's our Future and reclaiming your video back, I can help.

Please email me at videocollectionservices@gmail.net.

The .net allows you to go higher up in internet protocol and we can get you the video from there.

Sir, it's a video of a missed dunk, far as I can gather. I suggest you collect your dignity and just move on.

Posting youtube links of guys missing dunks is not against the TOS. You can, however, complain to youtube if your content has been stolen.

YouTube does not remove content unless you can provide proof that you hold copyrights. Not necessarily a copyright for that piece, just copyrighted material at all. If you do then having content removed is a legal matter where you would have to confirm that the video violates intellectual property law. They don't remove public domain material, and if you posted it on YouTube without a special legal agreement (that the big media companies have) then your fine print in your user agreement may have released the content into the public domain.

I think if its his video then he can claim copyright on it. I think he'd have to send a DMCA takedown notice to youtube and they'd remove it.

But its not against the realgm TOS to link to videos on youtube.

RealGM cannot control the services and/or issues that arise on other sites. I say other sites, because even though the video was posted here, it's source is still YouTube and not RealGM...and our TOS doesn't extend beyond our site. Also, unless the video is profane, or of a full TV/Movie/Event, then no it's not a TOS violation either.

Even then, it's not "his" Video but that of the NBA and in effect if he were to pursue Gallo's Our Future's video being removed for Copyright reasons....I have a strong feeling YouTube would also likely remove Q2N8's video as well for copyright infringement in itself. ;) :D

Hope that helps answer your question.

My advice would be to not post an embarrassing video of yourself on youtube if you don't want people to see it.
