You just don't think LeBron playing with Gallinari would be pretty cool.

What really matters is whether or not Chauncey Billups thinks the idea is "cool".

What about whether or not Carmelo understands the New York craze?

Remember in the offseason when there was a thread everyday about Ramon Sessions possibly joining the Knicks? Like seriously, who gives a ****?

Apparently the New York Post does.

Are you referring to the LeBron/NY talk they often post there? I can see why a Cavs fan would find that amusing. Or to be more honest....irritating.
But boy, you can't help but notice that as the season draws to an end and we inch closer towards July 1st, LeBron to NY seems more and more like a possibility. You just sorta get that feeling, ya know? Despite the Cavs playing so well and the Knicks about to miss the playoffs once again, you can just feel it in the air!
And I'd feel guilty talking so bluntly about this if there weren't so many haters on this board who are so quick to spark debates and launch insults at each other's favorite teams and players. It wasn't too long ago that people swore up and down that the Nets' young talent was so above and beyond what the Knicks have on their roster. Yet, during this last stretch of games, the Nets are still scratching and clawing for 10 wins while the Knicks have been able to showcase some of the impressive, young players that will be left on the roster for next year. Gallo, Douglas, Chandler and Walker....all very LEGIT! Tons of cap space....and yes...the city of NY. Which reminds me...
Speaking of the Nets, their boy and personal "friend of LeBron" Jay-Z recently collaborated with Absolut Vodka to make this cool little video about a concert he did at MSG. Hard to imagine LeBron seeing something like this and not feeling tempted to join the party. For those of you who laugh at the apparent lure of NY and the Garden itself, listen to some of the things Jay has to say about the grandest stage of all-

I cant help but get the feeling that Realgm uses ESPN's insider feature (where they compile articles from different news paper into a rumour page) and just finds them and posts them. Who is in charge of putting together the wiretap?

How is Bill Walker legit? He's very athletic and might be a good role player some day but he isn't "legit". He doesn't even seem to use his athleticism all that much, every time I watch him play he's launching an ill-advised three point shot.
Gallinari will be a good scorer in this league for a while.
Douglas looks nice.
Chandler? He isn't going to get much better than what he is now.

Obviously LeBron would want to leave a great team, $30M extra in contract, a massive property that would probably be impossible to sell, and his home state to boot, for a music video featuring a mediocre mass-marketed vodka and a rapper LeBron could just phone anytime anyway if he wants to talk to him that badly.
