Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets are expected to agree to a four-year $209 million maximum contract extension, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.

It's outright insane to me that Anunoby signed for more overall money than Murray.

How exactly does that happen? :crazy:

It's because OG's new contract is over 5 years because he is about to be a free agent. Murray is still under contract for next season so he is signing a 4 year extension. 5 years total is the longest you can be signed for.

Murray's extension is about $10M more per year than OG's.
