Bulls Will Have Easier Trade Options For Nikola Vucevic Than Zach LaVine

The Chicago Bulls are likely to find a trade of Nikola Vucevic far easier than Zach LaVine, but one is not expected to materialize before the start of the 24-25 season.

Vucevic has just over $41 million remaining on his contract over the next two seasons. Vucevic and the Bulls signed a three-year, $60 million contract during the 2023 offseason. Vucevic is represented by Rade Filipovich and Bill Duffy.

In 76 games last season, Vucevic averaged 18.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 34.3 minutes.

Zack is on a max and gave them 19/5/4 over 25 games. That is a serious drop off from a few seasons ago, and yet still surprisingly close to his career numbers. Unfortunately, you know what you are getting there as well. He'll need to come back and show he's healthy before there is any kind of market for him.

Agreed on Vuc. With no Derozan I could easily see him coming back to average 25/5/5 on decent enough efficiently if he stays healthy. That’s a big if though at this point, but if he does it could be enough to get a contender to bite without Chicago having to attach picks to him.
