Jarrett Allen 'Obligated' To Sign Extension With Cavs Before August 6

Jarrett Allen was "obligated" to sign his contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers before August 6, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Allen signed a three-year, $91 million extension. 

With the signing reported in late July, Allen is now available to be traded on February 2, 2025.

There is a leaguewide belief that the long-term fit between Allen and Evan Mobley is "suspect."
