Cavaliers Had Interest In Bruno Caboclo During Olympics

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Aug 14, 2024 2:00 pm

On the Wine and Gold Talk podcast, Chris Fedor reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers have had interest in adding some frontcourt depth. One player the Cavs were interested in was Bruno Caboclo.

Caboclo played well for Brazil during the Paris Olympics. A return to the NBA for the 6-foot-9 forward has been mentioned since he left the league in the 2022 offseason.

Caboclo has played for team in Brazil, the G League, Germany and Serbia over the past few seasons. Last season for Partizan, Caboclo averaged 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. He shot 64% from the field and hit 35-of-71 on three-pointers.

Fedor also reported that Cleveland could have interest in Guerschon Yabusele, who is looking to return to the NBA. However, Fedor said that he didn't see a logical fit for Yabusele on the Cavs roster.

Caboclo was 6-9 when he was drafted, now he´s almost 7-0 and playing almost exclusively as Center. Can shoot from 3 and block shots
