Rockets Waive Thon Maker, Markquis Nowell

The Houston Rockets have waived center Thon Maker and point guard Markquis Nowell. Both players were signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts earlier this offseason.

Maker and Nowell are both expected to join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the upcoming G League season.
