Legler will expand his role by serving as a television game analyst on ESPN in addition to his appearances on Sports Center and Get Up.

Perkins will also appear on ABC editions of NBA Countdown in addition to his previous duties.

McNutt will continue as an analyst on both NBA and WNBA live events and studio coverage and make regular appearances on Get Up, First Take, SportsCenter and Hoop Streams. She is also one of ESPN’s NBA sideline reporters.

The lead studio team for “NBA Countdown” on ABC consists of host Malika Andrews and analysts Stephen A. Smith, Bob Myers and Perkins.

Meh. Legler has been solid for years, and Ogwumike does some decent analysis, but McNutt is pretty generic, and Perkins was an interesting source in the first couple years after he retired, as he brought sort of an inside view about players and coaches he was directly playing with or against just a short time before. But with every additional year he gets beyond his playing days, his insider knowledge and connections diminish and decrease in value... and, frankly, his raw analytical skills aren't strong enough to make up for that.

Losing Wojnarowski and ditching Lowe is definitely going to hurt their NBA coverage overall.
