The Boston Celtics waived wing Ron Harper Jr, guard Jay Scrubb and center Hason Ward. All three players were signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts.
Harper, Scrubb and Ward are all expected to join the Maine Celtics for the upcoming G League season.
Boston has yet to make a decision on the status of guard Lonnie Walker IV for the upcoming season. Walker is signed to an Exhibit 10 contract and was ticketed to also play in Maine. However, the veteran guard's strong preseason play has him in the mix to claim the Celtics open 15th roster spot.
