Aaron Gordon, Nuggets Agree To Four-Year, $133M Extension

Aaron Gordon and the Denver Nuggets have agreed to a four-year, $133 million contract extension. Gordon will opt into his $23 million salary for 25-26 plus three additional years at his maximum salary plus bonuses.

The Nuggets and Gordon had until the end of Monday to agree to an extension.

Gordon will have a player option for 28-29 and a trade kicker.

Its an overpay I dont know who else pays him this much.. The nuggets have lost so much depth.. Lets see how this season plays out.. Is gordan tradable on this contract? He fits well with this team I just cant see anyone else needing a guy that cant shoot just plays really well off the best passing centre ever.

Ofc it's not overpay. On paper, he's 4th most important guy on their roster. When playoffs come, he's easily number 2. It's contracts for Murray and MPJ that are questionable.

Got a good deal for him. The Nuggets will probably take a step back losing KCP but still can't count them out in the playoffs.

I think KCP has become the most overrated player since Bruce Brown. He is the exact kind of player that looks fantastic next to a play maker like Lebron or Jokic and pedestrian in almost any other situation. I think DEN understood his value.
