Fever Fire Head Coach Christie Sides

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Oct 27, 2024 5:16 pm

Yet another WNBA team announced a coaching change when the Indiana Fever said Sunday that they had "parted ways" with coach Christie Sides.

The Fever, who were led by 2024 No. 1 pick and rookie of the year Caitlin Clark, are coming off the franchise's first playoff berth since 2016.

 What's up with the wnba constantly firing coaches. Its bad enuff when nba changes coaches like people change underwear. Don't need another sport where the higher ups act like its their god given birthright to win the championship every single year like lots of college football programs. Sparks under the buss family did that a lot. I still remember the time where the silver stars [S.A] traded their star player & of course they were gonna have a losing record, but they fired the coach. How about fire the idiot that traded the star player away
3 teams who weren't expected to do much this season foolishly fired their coaches. I think the owners should be fired instead. Mystics weren't going anywhere without Della Donne who took the year off. I felt they shoulda drafted Reese who was a local player & who could probably hold things down for a season. Maybe they would improve with her & Della Donne returning. The sky fired Teresa Weatherspoon & their players didn't like that. And now this from the fever. They weren't expected to make the playoffs. More teams who need to learn from the steelers.

more money coming into the league means more expectation, which leads to hiring more experienced coaches.
