Jabari Smith Jr. will be out four to eight weeks with a fracture in his left hand.


Smith suffered the injury during shootaround on Friday.


In 33 games this season, Smith is averaging 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds in 30.9 minutes.

While playing the game. Unusual during warmups/shoot around. For example, you don’t usually try and block shots during shoot around. I know it is possible if you catch a pass wrong or collide with someone. That is why I didn’t say ridiculous or unprecedented, just unusual.

As well as Houston has been playing Jabari hasn't been crucial to their success. IMO they are better starting Tari Eason. If he wasn't hurt Jabari would have been a good piece to trade to improve at guard. I can't take the Rockets seriously with Jalen Green as their starting SG.
