Chris Boucher, Raptors Have Interest In Extension

Chris Boucher and the Toronto Raptors have mutual interest in a contract extension. Boucher is also drawing interest on the trade market.

Boucher is averaging 10.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.5 minutes over 37 games this season. Boucher is also shooting 35.9 percent on 3.8 three-point attempts per game.

Boucher is on an expiring contract and is represented by Sam Permut.

He would be a good pick up for a contender.

On the Raptors, he's just spoiling the tank for Flagg.

They should trade him asap.

The mans a legend and 3 time champ, im for trading if we can get good value but have no issues with keeping him and extending him. He a young vet and still improving. Even his understanding of the game is improving and can be a huge boost within darkos system if he can continue with his projected play. A high energy big off the bench that can shoot and block shots isnt so easy to find and if he willing to stay for our rebuild that should be good for us. Unless we getting some first rounds for him im a fan of keeping him. Even at his age he doesnt have the same milage and still has the youthful energy. He just seems like a guy that will age gracefully and can provide his high energy output for many more years even if its in limited spurts. i think that actually extends his career projection
