Kings Open To Trading Kevin Huerter; Looking To Keep Devin Carter

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jan 24, 2025 6:20 am

The Sacramento Kings are reluctant to part with Devin Carter in any trade, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The team, who have been linked with Cam Johnson, are instead looking to deal a combination of Kevin Huerter, Trey Lyles, and future first-round picks.

The Pacers are also rumored to be interested in Johnson, with other teams inquiring about Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, Jarace Walker, and Ben Sheppard.

Obi Toppin is also expected to be a trade candidate, though he does not appear to be a fit with the Nets.

It'd be a smooth move by Monte to keep Carter a while longer, could end up being a Haliburton style break out player...so why not increase his value if they eventually move him. Plus DC might be a good ace in the hole to keep, if for whatever reason, Fox doesn't up end sticking around.
