Kai Jones intends to sign a Two-Way contract with the Dallas Mavericks upon clearing waivers. Jones was waived by the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday and will help the Mavericks with their depth issues at center with Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively currently injured.
In 28 games with the Clippers this season, Jones has averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7.4 minutes.
