Josh Kroenke To Serve As Interim President Of Basketball Operations Of Nuggets

Josh Kroenke will serve as interim president of basketball operations for the Denver Nuggets with assistance from front office personnel in Ben Tenzer and Tommy Balcetis. The Nuggets will conduct a thorough GM search in the offseason.

The Nuggets parted ways with Calvin Booth on Tuesday. Booth was on an expiring contract.

I get that this team hasn't been as good as last year, but I find it a bit weird when teams clean house during the season when you're still a playoff contender. Why not fire them at the end of the season instead of disrupting the team when they are currently in the #4 seed and trying to make a playoff run?
