Raptors Waive Orlando Robinson, Cole Swider

The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday they have waived Orlando Robinson and Cole Swider.


Robinson, 6-foot-10, 235 pounds, averaged 8.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 20.4 minutes in 35 games with the Raptors this season.


Swider, 6-foot-8, 220 pounds, averaged 7.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 19.5 minutes in eight games with the Raptors.

Sucks for Robinson. He had quite a few really good games. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back next fall.

He was auditioning for all 30 teams; and he got the audition. He's definitely an NBA big, and now everyone knows it.

Seems weird waiving a player with 2 games left in the season. What's the over/under on them bringing one or both of these players back?
