The New York Knicks are considering speaking with James Borrego for their head coaching vacancy, sources tell The Athletic. Borrego is a CAA client, the agency formerly run by Leon Rose.
Last season, Borrego was an assistant coach under Willie Green with the New Orleans Pelicans. Borrego has previously been a head coach with the Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets.
Taylor Jenkins and Mike Brown appear to be the front-runners for the job at this point, according to The Athletic.
