The Houston Rockets and center Jock Landale have agreed to push back his contract guarantee date to July 7. Landale's $8 million contract had been set to become fully guaranteed on June 29.
Houston is still sorting through free agency and trade options. This move gives them more time to figure out what to do with Landale's contract. The Rockets have already agreed to trade for Kevin Durant, and to re-sign free agents Fred VanVleet, Aaron Holiday, Jae'Sean Tate and Jeff Green.
