Former NBA guard J.J. Barea is joining the Denver Nuggets coaching staff. Barea will be an assistant coach under David Adelman, who was installed as the Nuggets head coach following the season.
Barea was previously with the Dallas Mavericks as a player development coach. He's also coached in his native Puerto Rico.
Adelman is also rumored to be interested in adding current Mavericks assistant Jared Dudley to his staff.
