The Orlando Magic have signed forward Jamal Cain to a Two-Way contract. The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 37 games with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.
Cain appeared in 13.6 minutes per game for the Pelicans during the 2024-25 campaign. He scored in double figures nine times and recorded 20-plus points twice, including a career-high 25 points against Miami on April 11.
The undrafted forward has played 81 career NBA regular season games with the Miami Heat and New Orleans since 2022. He maintains career averages of 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game across both franchises.
Cain averaged 21.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.1 minutes per game across 37 starts and 40 career G League games.
Cain played five collegiate seasons between Marquette and Oakland from 2017-22. He appeared in 150 games with 61 starts, averaging 8.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game.
