Sources: Hornets Could Look To Trade Gordon This Summer

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Apr 7, 2013 9:55 pm

The New Orleans Hornets were unable to pull off a trade of Eric Gordon before February's trade deadline, but that doesn't mean they are done shopping him.

The Hornets are still likely to remain open to trading him after this season ends, according to sources.

Gordon reportedly engaged in a confrontation with New Orleans coach Monty Williams during Friday night's game against the Utah Jazz.

Gordon said he wanted to be Phoenix this off-season and his comments were about as anti-hornets as they could be. "I hope the Hornets don't match the offer."

The cornerstone of the CP3 trade needs to move on and so do the Horneticans.

Not to slam PHX, but what are they doing there that's so much better than New Orleans? Is it a geographical thing? Because if I looked at both rosters, as a young SG as Gordon is, I'd be begging to stay with Anthony Davis. Shame that NO bungled the 10th pick, but between Vasquez and Davis, I like the NO core.
