Jay-Z Begins Selling Shares Of Nets

Brooklyn Nets minority owner Jay-Z has begun the process of selling his stake in the team so that he can become an NBA agent.


The rapper has a 1/15th stake in the club, worth $350,000.


Jay-Z would be required to relinquish his stake in the team in order to represent NBA clients as an agent.

This is inaccurate. Jay Z does not have a 1/15th stake, he has 1/15th of a PERCENT, or 1/1500 stake.

Ya I was about to say 1/15ths of the nets is not 350k...

The media acted like J was a real owner. 0.067% percent is not worth writing articles about ESPN.

J was more famous for owning a team than half of the majority owners in the NBA.

Absolutely agree with you.
