Springfield Armor forward Willie Reed has signed with the Memphis Grizzlies for the rest of the season, agent Joel Bell told RealGM on Sunday afternoon.
Reed averaged 14.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for Springfield this season, posting 12 double-doubles in 48 games. At 6-foot-10, Reed will bolster what’s already a big, physical Grizzlies frontcourt.
Future terms of Reed’s contract with the Grizzlies are still being worked out, Bell said.
Reed, 22, played two seasons at St. Louis before going undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft.
