Good for Mike. They don't need to keep making the possible return of Lebron the news. Bringing back a winning coach should be the story. This will help the defenseless Cavlings tremendously.

Yea, if he can instill a little defense, the Cavs should have no problem making the playoffs next year in the Eastern Conference.

Good for Brown. He is back home.

So how much money do the Lakers save? Will Mike take an extra cheap contract knowing the Lakers have to pay the difference????
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

slow down. they COULD make it, but "no problem" is a stretch. yeah, they could overtake the bucks, but they won't be the only team vying for a bottom seed. philly, toronto, and even the wiz should be in that mix.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Great move for CLE. With a lot of young talent on the roster, whats most important is hammering defensive concepts into their heads. Brown likely won't win much, but his impact could be great for the long-term development of Irving, Waiters, and Tristan.

As far as the playoffs...

Cleveland was 19th on O and were the 4th-worst D in the league, winning 24 games. "Instilling a little defense" won't be enough.
