Jason Kidd Wins NBA Sportsmanship Award

Jason Kidd has won the 2012-13 NBA Sportsmanship award.

Kidd won the award, which is given to a player who demonstrates ethical behavior, fair play and integrity, last season as well.

Luol Deng, Stephen Curry, Mike Conley, Nick Collison and Jameer Nelson were also nominated for the award.

Seriously. It states it's given to a player who "demonstrates ETHICAL BEHAVIOR".......idiotic choice. Luol Deng is FAR more deserving.

Its an annual award guys...not a life time achievement award. Sheesh! Some people just cant ever let someone get past their prior transgressions.

Congrats to J.Kidd an all time great player for maturing enough to win an award like this.

this is an on-the-court award, people. obviously there are guys whose personal lives are more deserving, but there's an award for that too.

Apparently he's going to win the NBA's husband/boyfriend of the year award as well. He edged out Lance Stephenson for the award.
