Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Completely agree. I don't care for the redesign at all, plus it feels like many features have fallen out. Doesn't do it for me at all.

You know when you're reading a post? You have the squared off area on the left where the username is, posts count, avatar, etc. Then you have the area on the right where the actual post exists? The border that separates the two should be to the left more (so the area where the username is would be a tad smaller). So the post doesn't start so far off to the right...if that makes sense. It just looks way too 'off' for my tastes.

That is a good suggestion. I will tighten that up a little bit. There will still be some extra space so it collapses nicely on all screens, but I can make it a little less of a gap.

Seems you tweaked it already? Looks much better now. Thanks.

What about making the sports logos by your username display vertically like they used to? I think that looks much better...more pleasing to the eyes.

How about on the bottom underneath "Post Reply" where it says "Return to (whatever forum you're currently in)". Can you put that on the right side near "Jump to"?

Was I seeing things, or was there an "x" up by the and-1 area where you could delete your post?

I'm sorry but this looks awful.

There's no contrast, it all bleeds into itself and the top of the page looks like a real cheap 99 cent smartphone app.

New issue: I can no longer resize the view on the iOS. This makes it difficult to read the site since my vision is not the best. On the iPhone that's not a huge deal since it is omitting the user rectangle to the left, and giving full width to the post. But on iPad it is showing the user rect which is making the posts smaller than full width with no way for me to zoom in.

Same issue here. I posted on the moderators forum and haven't gotten a response yet. My fingers are to "fat" to click on anything and I can't zoom in at all. I feel like ita stuck on mobile version but I cannot change it back to a regular browser.

The posts being quoted should be in white. They blend in way too much as it is now.

Yes. Agreed.

This is a mess trying to post on an iPad with the forums sticky menu that remains at the top of the screen and covers my text box.

We all hate change, but even with that qualifier, this is a mess. Please revert back.

paulp, I think all these issues are fixable. In general responsive design is a good thing, Just need to get the kinks out of this one. I don't have a bar covering anything. I think that's a fixed issue but you may need to clear your browser cache to have it take affect.

I agree with this.

I also feel that the wiretap boxes are too tall. As a result, there's much more scrolling to be done to access the forum area of the page than before, which can get a tad annoying. I also agree with whoever said that we don't need the rotating wiretap of the other sports -- I would prefer not to see it and to go back to the rectangular wiretap box, which didn't feel intrusive AND had 7-8 headlines instead of just 5. The rotating wiretap feels like I'm being "forced" to explore the other sports on the forum.

I know the notifications thingy is a work in progress. My suggestion is to have it highlighted in yellow as before when there are new notifications.

Other than that, great job. The new logo looks foreign right now, but I have a hunch it will feel way more classy than the previous one once we get used to it.

And thank you for tackling every suggestion so promptly.

Next issue is one already brought up by mods, but since it's still happening I'll raise it here: I'm getting post approval requests pretty frequently.

I'll just have to get used to the new design. I'm so accustomed to the old one.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I'd like to report a MAJOR bug in the new design: the Lakers are beating the Warriors by 20. Please fix this!

We've taken that in to consideration and you should be able to zoom in now.
