the heat did it (Dwane Wade) so can we

and we still have a 6 seed
no Rose
no Deng
no Bench Mob

why dont you worry about trading off Jameer Nelson and letting teh Mgaic fully devolop Oladipo

the Bulls have been makin it to the playoffs since 05 we'll be AIGHT

1. wade never tore his ACL, and then came right back and tore his meniscus
2. to ignore rose's performance is at your own risk, why would anyone believe he will return to where he was?
3. it would be smarter to plan w/o rose being a major impact player and be pleasantly surprised if he does do well.
4. i'm not the gm, i'm allowed to have an opinion, y'all are a sensitive bunch.

never said he would ?

but if you would have read .......

The Bulls have no other choice but to expect him to come back.....

and his ACL is fully recovered he tore his minuscus on the OTHER leg and they re-attached it in stead of removing it so he wouldn't have problems like WADE

bledsoe just removed his to come back before allstar break ....idk why but yea theres the difference

and your opinion sucks : )

Having a good laugh at those saying we're about to blow it up. Sorry guys, our core group's not for sale. For better or worse, this was a Harden-esque salary dump.

Were giving Taj Alot of money to come off the bench

and i would only guess...that were gonna give Mirotic a good contract too.

How else would we try and sign Melo? we couldn't keep everyone.

Ok you really need to be put in line. The Bulls are in the Eastern conference. Ill repeat that - the Eastern conference.

This year is historically bad for the East. The bulls are 5th with a LOSING record. So stop talking about how your Bulls are in the playoffs, it ain't that hard this year.

Secondly just to add some fuel to the fire - if Heat stay together then it's then and the Pacers that will be champs of East for the next few years. Both of those teams have made it further in the playoffs than the Bulls have ever since MJ left.

Judging from the track record of Reinsdorf and Paxson, the Bulls FO is pretty good at cost control. They do not bid against itself for the service of a player like some other teams do. And since they had just created some cap space by trading Deng and waiving Bynum, I won't be surprised if they are able to fit Melo, Taj and Mirotic simultaneously.

LMFOAMLFMOAMLFMOAMLFMAOMFLAO

2011....Bulls eliminate the pacers 1rst round make it to the eastern conference

WITH A 4 SEED

other then 2013 the pacers made it to the 2nd round in 2005

so they made it to the east last year.....big deal

we been ripping them and the knicks a new **** for the past 20 years
....The heat have made it to the finals and won 3 times since Jordan.
The pacers haven't done ****? wtf are you talking about ???

its the 1st year the Pacers will win there Division...go check when the last time that happend was....

and by me saying we still have a 5 seed that doesn't mean i think were gonna ''win'' it all.

''Rebuild'' or ''Retooling'' i'm all for it

since this is a open forum discussing the Chicago Bulls NOT THE PACERS OR THE HEAT

with the Bulls ''RETOOLING'' as the headline says, i don't think its a bad idea and open up the market to sign possibly a Carmelo Anthony....or any one of the Big Free agent guys out there if THEY can.

and for the millionth time they can't do that by paying guys like Taj Gibson & Kirk hinreich if were gonna tank and get rid of people then damnit do it right !

and if you ask me....i hope we lose every game i could careless about making it to the 2nd round,
and YES i hope the Pacers beat the heat in the east....but the East has been weak for along time.
but stop pretending the raptors or the wizards or the bobcats were always better then the bulls.....

what are we hoping for?

good potential draft pick-
Nikola Mirotic-
Free agency pick up-

The warriors are already interested in Kirk Hinreich, The Bulls said there gonna amnesty Boozer.

Stop Adding fuel to your own fire cause your speaking non-sense

and the bottom line is Unless they get rid of EVERYONE, the bulls are always gonna be in playoff Contention with a winning or Losing SEED

now imagine if we had a Superstar + what we got : /

The discussion I said was still about the Bulls. You were talking smack about how the Bulls can easily make the playoffs this year - but you fail to admit it's only because of how pathetic the Eastern conference is this year.

Read my post again, carefully...and properly...

"Both of those teams have made it further in the playoffs than the Bulls have ever since MJ left"

Heat - Current champs (furthest)
Bulls - Smashed in ECF
Pacers - Game 7 ECF (You can say NBA Finals actually, but we'll use past 5 years for them)

Continue laughing Bulls fan - the facts show that those two teams have had more success than your Bulls. Want to use injuries as an excuse? Then stop talking like the Bulls are so spectacular when they haven't proved **** other than having a strong regular season record then getting destroyed where it counts - in the playoffs.

Until Rose comes back and hopefully plays healthy again, there is very little point in speculating how good or how far the Bulls can go in the next couple of years.

EDIT: I forgot to add something. You must be a serious fan right? ....What is this talk about how the Bulls beat the Pacers in 2011 with a "4 SEED"? Lol you have to be kidding me right...you just made yourself look like a fool!

Oh and for the record, you want to talk about division champs?

I looked it up.

Since MJ left:

Bulls - 2
Pacers - 4, and potentially 5 this year.

You keep making yourself look like an idiot lol!!

Don't think its a rebuild either. We still got Butler / Noah / Taj and Rose. Not sure how Rose will do, but hoping he returns to top level. When he came back from his ACL injury, he looked just as fast and just as explosive. I think he played a bit too crazed at the beginning of the year.

Losing Deng sucked, but to be honest, I don't think he was coming back next year anyways. It seems that the FO made the most of the situation, and went with getting under the LT and avoided the repeater tax.

If you listened to Pax's press conference after Deng was traded, he mentioned something very interesting. Our FO will now build *with* Derrick instead of building *around* him. I think that's the smart move. They also did mention that they do know its a superstar league and they (The Bulls) need superstars. My guess / hope / optimism is that they go for broke with Melo or KLove. Both are long shots, but I'm glad we're trying something like that.

Regarding Thibs - He just signed a contract extension. He squashed the Knicks Rumors, and if you think Thibs is unhappy with the Bulls, going to the Knicks isn't a dream either. They got no draft picks, possibility of losing Melo in FA, and just currently, IMO, a better option then staying here in Chicago, where you got guys like Noah / Butler / Taj that play the type of basketball that Thibs wants.

Exactly right. Why the hell would he want to go coach the Knicks..Bulls are doing better than Knicks without a superstar.
