Don't believe us? Maybe you should pay Phil Jackson a few hundred million to explain it to you

Phil Jackson > Masai Ujiri FYI

I agree, the Raptors will be in the playoffs and the Kings will not. But the WC is way harder than the east this year. Switch roles, and you can bet the Kings would have more wins and would likely swap places with the Raptors (or at least close to that anyway).

We have a winning record against the west after the trade.

Prove it

Why are we even arguing with this guy? Your luxury tax team can barely make the playoffs. Phil jackson ain't fixing that mess bruh

Phil Jackson is the all time winningest basketball person EVER. EVER. He will bring a championship back to NYK. Raptors on the other hand are celebrating like crazy for their 3rd or 4th playoff berth in team history. Good luck on the mediocrity treadmill!

As a player and as a coach, yes you're right. In a management role. Remains to be seen.

Raps are 15-14 against the West, even better after the trade.
Also, the Kings have a losing record against the East.
Maybe look up the facts before you start talking out your ass.
But what else should we expect form a Knicks fan

Yes but a 15-14 record = .517%. Which would in fact put you 10th in the west, and OUT of the playoffs.

OWNED.

First of all, you were comparing the Raps to the Kings, not Western conference playoff teams.
Second of all, their record is better than that after the trade
Last of all, even teams in the west play eastern conference opponents. Portland is 5th in the West and only has a .545% record against Western conference teams.
Nice try tho

please do not let that kid give you the false premise that all knicks' fans are completely stupid and bring up illogical arguments.

some of us try not to say our team is better, especially when the team we root for sucks more than the other.

edit: oh, they've only been on here for a day. they're just a troll

How many of those rings were won without Jordan and Kobe? How much experience does he have as a GM? Wasn't this the same guy who pushed LA to trade caron butler for kwame brown? Phil jackson ain't fixing that mess of an organization.

It's guys like Knicks Universe that make me wonder why people say it's good for the league if the Knicks are good. It's good for the league if guys like Knicks Universe either learn from a couple more decades of mediocrity some humility or fall off as fans altogether because they can't handle it. As a long suffering Dubs fan, I quietly ate humble pie for years to get to this point. Open wide Knicks fans...

Just because I quoted his most ridiculous line ever (seriously, that was ridiculous) doesn't mean I am themeccamsg. Nice try though.

Is it really him ? It would make so much sense
"We're like Tim Duncan and David Robinson," Villanueva said, following the team's morning shootaround at the America West Arena. "But a younger version. I really feel that."

You have atleast 5 posts in this thread that are on meccamsg troll level. You also made your account yeterday yet you are quoting a guy that hasn't posted here in months. Give it up meccamsg.

The Raptors are going to the playoffs this season while clearing $20M in salary for next season. How can anyone say this move wasn't a win for Toronto?

Even if it's not the same person, he's the new meccamsg. That guy's so mad that the knicks didn't trade for Lowry he pretty much said Lowry is a scrub.
