Great Signing! Anyone saying this is too expensive or Vasquez isnt worth it clearly hasnt watched the Raptors. He was one of our better players last season and contributed hugely to this team winning. He has that superstar personality which our team doesnt really have. I really hope to see more Gravy fans this year, the man was hated on unjustifiably so much that it made me like him even more. He has the best vision on this squad and probably the best PG skills aswell

You are a fantasy sports turd if you are reading box scores to determine someone's value. Vasquez was a huge part of the raptors last year. He took some really big shots with great confidence and made a lot of them. He has a swagger that is infectious due to his ultra competitive nature. 6'6 PG... always a nice second unit player. $6.5m is a great number for your 1st or 2nd player off the bench. He plays starter's minutes some nights and plays well in crunch time.
People are going crazy over the money free agents are making this year... you can pay a little more if you don't have a max player on your roster.... Lowry makes $12m - Demar makes $10m...the cap is $63m with the luxury tax limit at $77m. Raptors have a great financial situation... they can afford to be right at the ceiling.
