With what Whiteside does on the defensive end, the fact that the team plays just as well defensively says a lot about how good our team is on defense. If he was on the knicks, they wouldn't do better defensively with him out of the game...

He was so good it was reported he did not fit in with the heat model of players and they were looking to move him, not resign him.

Sorry if you pay a guy a max contract he should be getting 20 and 15. So he is hitting free throws since the all star break and raised his average to 60 percent? in 8 whole games played since the all star break. He does two things well rebounding 11.7 a game and blocks from the off side. Sorry for the max I would pass big time. Let the Lakers pay for it

He's missed 6 games this season due to injury. He's missed 1 for suspension and 2 dnp. Check yourself. That equals 9, not 15.

What max player averages 20 and 15 in anything?! The last two players were Love on the wolves and Moses Malone. But keep digging that ditch.

And his ft% is not some random hot streak, he completely changed his ft form (he shoots them like jumpshots). If you did anything other than watch box scores, you'd know that. That's why his % post all star break is insane compared to the garbage it used to be. That's why he can nail jumpers. That's why teams are afraid to foul him. He's bought in to our system and flourished since then.

And yeah, we're not the only team that shows up late to the party. You're really not insulting anyone with that remark. I don't see what the big deal is, it's not your money.
