Breaking point: How much can Wolves improve after dealing with Clippers for the next 4 years?
1. Wolves become top 3 teams in the nba
2. Wolves become top 8 teams in the nba
3. Wolves become lottery team.

Clippers have to offer someone better than Butler, it that correct?

Just an example, something looks like this would be great for Wolves
Clippers get Butler
Wolves get Klay Thompson
Clippers sent nice package to Ws

Which is more fuel to believe most Teams are not interested in self serving d-bags like Butler who care more about Brinks trucks than winning basketball games and if they had to deplete their roster to get him and then be prepared to pay him to keep him strangling anymore options to replace the depleted roster they would just pass. He's not some generational icon that would demand that value.
Wolves have to take back one of Whiteside or Ty Johnson to get one of Richardson or Bam and they are not getting both of those players and a frp for an expiring Bulter they have to max out to keep.

Butler came back before fully healthy last year to get the Wolves in the playoffs. He cares about winning. He's only 29 years old and should have around six great years left. I would love to be the team that could offer him $190 million for five more years. That's a bargain.

no what he did was opt for the faster shaving of the meniscus so he wouldn't miss the entire season . The repair he opted for although great for the Wolves last year and btw his perceived value going forward has larger complications attached long term which teams trading for him will also use as leverage not only in a trade for him but in negotiations on his next deal.
Miami probably is willing to risk it this season so long as they don't give up to much value, but it is very likely he will have complications in the next couple seasons if not this season. Wolves know that as well and that also plays a role in his negotiations with them had he not requested a trade.Starting to see the light yet?

Good knowledge. I knew all that, but didn't want to go into that much detail. Of the two ways to treat the injury he took the faster one that allowed him to come back in time to get his team to the playoffs rather than the slower one that had the better long term prognosis showing that he absolutely cares about winning and his team. However, the one he did take isn't all that likely to lead to problems. Jimmy has had injuries and always came back to 100%. I'm not worried about his health through his upcoming extension. He's not much more of an injury risk than anyone else. Come back home Jimmy. We welcome you back with open arms. I certainly hope we don't trade him unless we get better than Harris, SGA and a first.

To take Dieng contract, Kings compensation would be Markelle Fultz-like players or two future first rounds picks from Wolves or Heat.

the next step would be another team to take Whiteside or Gallo contract
