How long until we start seeing the Lakers as trade partners? :banghead:

See what his return is before moving KD.

You think they haven’t tried that already

Too old for massive return. I disagree with the negative vibes on him. Needs to go to a good franchise that has a clue. Heat maybe.

Not a winner seems overly critical

Durant is days away from breaking 700 career wins (top-30 all time) -- and that is with missing almost 300 games due to injury in the past 11 seasons (after missing only 16 in the first 8)

The other guys on this list are ironmen who played 18, 19, 20+ seasons, many for HOF coaches and teammates.

Names like Kareem, Lebron, Parish, Stockton/Malone, Dirk, KG, JKidd, Derek Fisher, Vince Carter, AC Green, Jason Terry, Steve Nash etc....

Of that top-30,Durant's teams are in the top-half for win percent -- Durant is ahead of Kobe, Kidd, Garnett, Dirk, and Reggie in win percentage.

And that is with two sub-20 win seasons to start his career alone in Seattle.

Versus Kobe walked in Day 1 sitting the bench behind Shaq, Eddie Jones, Van Exel, Horry, Byron Scott etc....

There's no logic behind the statement that Durant isn't a winner.

They're not getting a massive haul especially if another team would have to help them facilitate getting a deal done because of how much KD is getting paid.

Might end up being a "you made your bed now lay in it situation" similar to Beal.

If he and the Suns had accepted before the trade deadline, they probably could have received a very good haul for him from the Warriors, but they blew it. They're likely going to be stuck with each other next year unless they relent quite a bit on the demands.

He will definitely try to get paired with another superstar again.

He hasn’t won anything outside that time he joined a 73 win team.

Bradley Beal will not waive his no trade clause so they are stuck with him. He doesn’t want to move again.

KD was informed the expectation was Championships when he joined which is a challenge itself. KD got blasted for supposedly taking the easy route, but, there were hurdles along the way and he had to do a lot to help the team succeed. It's just frustrating how much disrespect he got.

There's what you want and there's reality. I struggle to envision a franchise that wants to shell out a huge haul for an oft-injured 36 year-old who isn't a tier-1 player any longer. He's good, but he isn't good enough to merit a "massive haul" from any smart franchise.

I mean, he did it to himself. He left his team to join the squad which beat him and thought that would go well for him. Image management has never been a strongpoint for Durant.

He absolutely screwed up Brooklyn. Forced out a very good coach so they could have a “yes” man and then played LeGM getting his washed up buddy Deandre Jordan paid.

Ishbia and Jones are desperate to find someone as stupid as them.

I wouldn't be shocked if an older team with a 1-2 year window gives up a haul for him. Off the top of my head, I can't think of what teams that might be. But GSW and Steph's timeline would have been a fit. Of course KD doesn't want that "you only won with Steph" tag.

KD and Book are just iso players. They don't play defense or make other players better. So they can put up 60-80 points combined for PHX, it doesn't make them win. It just means other players get less shots.

These teams crack me up. They make a completely stupid move and destroy their roster. Then when it doesnt work out like everyone knew it wouldnt, they expect someone else to make an even dumber move to bail them out.

Good luck with that......

At this stage of his career KD is a 2nd or 3rd option player with a young core, i.e., the Spurs.

Indeed. And perhaps a happy coincidence for Durant that it lines up with the Spurs' needs

I am looking for a massive haul for my 1999 Toyota Corolla - I would like to exchange it preferably for a Lamborghini, but am also open to a Ferrari.
