Whatever page you are on, when you log in, you should be returned to that page.

EDIT: I suspect this is something that I should be able to manage within the "UCP_MAIN_NOTIFICATIONS" tab in my preferences. But when I click on that tab I'm being taken to a completely blank page.

You can adjust it by going to your user control panel (click on your name beside private messages to get there). Then select "edit notification option" and unclick the email tic boxes.

Skin Blues wrote:How do you get used to having 50% of your screen be filled with empty space? haha. Fact remains that many sites are able to accommodate both, even sites with cookie cutter vBulletin forums. I'm just wondering why it's so hard to write a code that says "if somebody is using a 1080p monitor, don't limit the horizontal width of a plaintext forum posts to 1000 pixels". I don't see how that harms the mobile experience, or even has any effect on it at all for that matter.

That question would be better answered by the guys with access to the code. From my personal experience, I can tell you that media queries can be a difficult thing to learn. Finding breakpoints is a science, one which I have yet to fully grasp. It's hard to accommodate every single device out there right off the bat. It takes testing time to nail it down completely.

I don't like how I have to scroll down to see all of the news on the home page. Nor do I like not being able to see the top five leaders in each statistical category. OR not being able to see the top two performers of the night in each category. Everything just seems so big and intrusive. Not a fan. :banghead:

And I shouldn't have to logon again everytime I close my browser....

Thanks for fixing the buttons (edit, quote, And1, etc.) to make them larger and clearer; they were a problem before.

I'd still like the option of closing that bar across the top with the nonbasketball forums index, if anyone knows how, let me know.

Echoing sentiments of others and a few more things:

- Bring back notifications when someone and 1s your post

- Make the notification icon yellow when you have a new notification

- Checking off "remember me" does nothing when logging in. Doesn't work in windows, OS X, iOS, etc. on any browser.

- On the mobile site, you can't see who created the thread on a forum page, but only who posted last. Gets confusing.

- Get the realgm app / tapatalk working. Still the best option for mobile devices.

- Not a big deal, but I think it makes more sense to have only NBA news at the top for an NBA forum, and so on.

It seems the search function only returns matches from May 2010 or earlier. Anybody else encountering this?

You guys have to bring the "My Forums" back to where it was before. And make the notifications "yellow" again when we have any. Then we're good.

Will the new posts feature be carried on to tapatalk when that works again?

Notifications does not work for me. It is set to notify, but even though I've gotten a few, the notifications still shows 0.

So the Real GM app doesn't exist any more ( it used to be in my library but is gone, and its no longer in the app store) and Tapatalk doesn't work any more.

Its just hard to believe that this upgrade involves ending mobile access. If I'm missing something let me know, but now that I can't check in for 5 -10 minutes here and there during the day, or while I'm watching the game and not on the pc, I will be on here about 75% less.

Agreed, considering its almost 2015 and everyone basically uses mobile phones or tablets and not the actual pc or laptop as much. They said a few pages back they would get app access back after Christmas but nothing yet. I agree with you though, it's mainly how I check the site/forums. I check several times a day through the apps and that's how I participate in game threads. Now I've been checking once a day, if that, every couple days.

Leaving out And1 notifications & Tapatalk seem to be the biggest issues right now.

I've been posting less frequently since the site redesign. That's certainly not a coincidence.
