I mean that has to be the reason. If not, well, stick to the Knicks board.
This is what I'm talking about. You're wrong yet again. Dragic doesn't have a max contract. My god man GO BACK TO THE KNICKS BOARD.
I just hope we keep Whiteside, max (which is 4 years/22mil) or not. I don't really care since it's not my money. 3 rings in a decade has been loads of fun. I think I'll be ok.

What does Whiteside mean?
What is a losing franchise?
Is it a team that has had a few bad seasons? Or has never won a title?

I think he means a franchise that is a championship contender.

Sorry if you pay a guy a max contract he should be getting 20 and 15. So he is hitting free throws since the all star break and raised his average to 60 percent? in 8 whole games played since the all star break. He does two things well rebounding 11.7 a game and blocks from the off side. Sorry for the max I would pass big time. Let the Lakers pay for it

too bad I put king david on my ignore list. I am just tired of these heat fans that think they know basketball they get insulted when you point out the obvious. You point out facts to them but hey they don't care we will take that 30 yr pg for the max and the 28 yr old injury prone center for another 20 million as well because they know an geriatric team will win and besides the early bird dinners in south florida are killer. Maybe that is why they are always late by 1 quarter.....

naw all three of cheat fans there were really loud. Too bad you heat fans can't handle the truth. The knicks dont need an injury prone non free throw shooting one trick pony center, he was never linked to the Knicks, if he is soo good the heat were willing to trade him for a one legged dwight howardNBADraft2003 wrote:Lol, Knick fans love making asses out of themselves. He is right the 90 million he signed for is just below his max still way over paid for a pg that never been to all star gameand will be 34 when it is over. At least his game diminish as his athletic skills go as he gets older. Since his game is not based on it. Look at calderon and 7 million and we are bitching about it. Imagine paying 23 million at age 34 HAHAHAHAHAHA

One of you guys can copy and paste the following to your posts so he can see this, please. Thanks.
You are something special. I haven't said one word to insult you. At worst, it was tongue in cheek. But you put me on your ignore list because I called you out on your ignorant and incorrect statements? I thought all you Knicks fans were thick-skinned, especially when you're as slanderous as you've been here in this thread. Way to stand behind your posts. Grow up. You keep calling Hassan injury prone when that's false. You say he's missed 15 games due to injury this year when it was just 6. You say Dragic has a max(or was that the knicks85? Idk) and that's also false. You try and hold Hassan to an unprecedented and absurd statistical benchmark for him to deserve a max (a 20 point and 15-anything average) which hasn't been done since Kevin Love on the horrible wolves squad and Moses Malone in the 80s. You can hate Hassan and Dragic all you want, I don't care for the opinions of the ignorant. But I will call you out when you start making stuff up and try to pass it off as fact, like I did with knicks85 and which I am now doing to you. And I will throw a smart-ass reply your way if you're trying to insult our fanbase, which you've done a few times already. If you want to civilly talk about basketball, I am completely willing and open to do so. Like I usually do on your knicks board in the offseason. Your statements in this thread are embarrassing to a large majority of the Knicks fans that post in this forum.
I don't build teams and I don't write our player's checks. So I don't care what dollar amount these players are signed for. I'm all for every able-bodied, working citizen to get as much money as they can; that includes professional athletes. What I don't like is that the Heat gave up two firsts to acquire Dragic in a trade. That was very risky and can potentially hurt our future. But that has nothing to do with this thread.
Yeah, we'll always be fashionably late to a party. Deal with it.
To Hassan be the glory.

Yeah because trades don't exist. Especially for expiring contracts. Whatever. 3 rings in a decade. So I trust our organization.

How is one supposed to be insulted by this? If that's how you feel the typical south florida sports fan acts, so be it.
Oh woe is me, heat fans are never on time, or are all fairweather. How will life go on?

We have youth now and draft picks, lol at Knicks finishing "rebuild" with Melo still there lol. The Knicks have no business being mentioned in the same sentence as Boston, stop it. One team has a collection of nice, young, and hungry talent with a bunch of draft picks about to make the Playoffs two years in a row and the other is the Knicks, who haven't been to the postseason in 3 years. How that max going for Melo with that 15% trade kicker and NTC? Good luck getting rid of him...
