I've always said this, this is bigger than the vaccine itself. Kyrie doesn't want to be controlled and he doesn't want to sell his soul like so many others in this industry. Man without his principles is a nobody. Kyrie needs to stay strong, this would be a bigger win for him than the NBA championship.

You can not get the vaccine if you want. You have to get the vaccine to work around other people or it will damage other people. This is a company policy.
No one is forcing this guy to get a vaccine. The government isn't controlling you. There are plenty of jobs you can get if you want to be selfish and not get a vaccine.
Tired of this topic and how many idiots come out the woodwork.
no no one is forcing you, you just can’t keep your job or do all the regular stuff you used to do before covid. no one is forcing you, you just will have a hard time surviving if you don’t. not a force, a mandate. it’s different. riiiiighht

Re: Kyrie Irving's Position Not Anti-Vaccine, Wants To Challenge A Perceived Control Of Society
what is abundantly clear here is how many of these hateful people feel no remorse for any regular people who don’t want to inject themselves with a vaccine with pretty serious potential side effects, way more serious than just getting covid and recovering. these people are now losing their jobs, australia, canada, germany (ironically), and the US are building “quarantine camps” (not conspiracy theory, fact, look it up) and people like the ones on this forum would gladly chuck these people in there because the government has told you to be afraid of them, that they are different, etc. this is medical tyranny and fascism in such blatant terms it is scary that people can’t see it. i hope people are able to take a look in the mirror when the day of judgment comes. not by god, but by your own conscience. many questions will be answered this winter, will you have the courage to realize you were wrong? we unvaccinated need you and all you do is spew hate and wish the worst on us even though you are theoretically protected from us. truly a mad, sick world. you are the sick ones. i hope compassion and understanding one day grows in you all.

Real talk, all this whining about being forced to do something. No one is forced to do jack... everyone has a choice. Don't want to vcxx? Work somewhere else. That's your choice.

Fear is the biggest weapon there is, and governments and companies with all their media minions are using it to control people. Someone like Kyrie for all his weirdness is a much more stable and sane person than all these fearmongers that are supporting taking away basic human rights. If you do the right thing you will be called crazy, that's the way this demonic society works.

I'm not an anti vaccine person but I already know one guy died from it in my gym but everyone is scared to talk about it however his best friend told me that it was shortly after getting vaccinated he started coughing up blood. Maybe a coincidence but who knows. I'm just waiting on some additional research to be done. In NYC if u don't have vaccine you can't go in so I stopped going to my gym and rather spend that time playing ball for exercise.
History repeating itself here. I stand with Kyrie and other "woke idiots" as some of you may call us. Keep believing the media and following the herd. And then we wonder how citizens on mass scale were cool with German army throwing people in concentration camps, how the Americans were cool throwing their Japanese American neighbors in concentration camps during WW2 and why Iraq invasion which made absolute no sense was carried out with little to no opposition. Fear works and preech something 24/7 in media and people will eat it up.

Actually I think this does the opposite. Now he can’t get the shot. Before if it was just about “doing research” he could have changed his mind. Now he is the social defender of all the unvaccinated lol. He has to stick to his guns here.

Exactly what research are you waiting for? Like how the research needs to be conducted and what results you need to see?

Doesn't this sort of contradict his prior statements? If this is a political or legal authority challenge then why at every juncture has he said it's a family/personal matter the he wants to keep private?
I get the legal authority challenge, but if that was actually the case wouldn't he be more vocal about it when previously interviewed?

Merica, land of the conspiracy. For everything. I bet there is conspiracy theorist out there for traffic signs and rules. Someday someone will start driving the opposite side of the road because it impedes their freedom as they should be allowed to drive however they want. Driving on the left side of the street is much safer. Insurance companies and big corporations lobby the govt to drive on the right hand side for their own gains and population control. A guy from NBA will take up the cause and make headlines. He will feel great about this cause and feel like a hero. Merica.

Wait, wait, wait - isn't the only public thing he, himself, has said about his vaccine status is that it is a "private matter" and refused to address it further? How are you going to be a supposed "voice for the voiceless" to challenge anything and also actively refuse to speak about it on grounds that it is a "private matter"?

History is always repeating itself and people never learn. God is watching and will make everyone pay for their actions.

I have traffic conspiracy. For now it's private matter, but I'm planning to go public with it once field is less crowded. Here it goes: you're supposed to stop walking once red traffic light is on. WHY? (just asking questions here) Because once you are still, it takes picture of you or your soul and sends it to Satan's computer, so Satan can control you.

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.
Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, "Jump in, I can save you."
The stranded fellow shouted back, "No, it's OK, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me."
So the rowboat went on.
Then a motorboat came by. "The fellow in the motorboat shouted, "Jump in, I can save you."
To this the stranded man said, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."
So the motorboat went on.
Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, "Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety."
To this the stranded man again replied, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."
So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.
Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, "I had faith in you but you didn't save me, you let me drown. I don't understand why!"
To this God replied, "I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?"

Someone not wanting to inject themselves with something isn't a conspiracy. I wonder if you also call fat people conspiracy theorist? Considering being fat goes against what decades of scientific research tells us about how destructive it is to long term health. What about drinkers? Are they conspiracy theorist too? Why don't they do the 'right' thing and live healthier. Damn conspiracy theorist.

Kyrie clearly stated to his circle he is anti-control, not anti-vaccine. And this vaccine is getting pushed harder than the invasion of Iraq back in 2002. Thank God he has a choice. If it was up to the government and all the sheep, he'd be strapped down and injected I'm sure.

Wants to Challenge a PERCEIVED...
Nice choice of words it's not perceived it's in your face real.
If I were Kyrie, I would negotiate a contract buyout and sign next season with a team that is not in a state that forces things upon you.
